15th January 2018 Coinify Life Mainstreaming Blockchain Currencies – Coinify Year in Review 2017 (part 2) Let us share some of the most important highlights of our transformation in the past 365 days with you. 2017 was a truly exciting year for the blockchain industry! With great pleasure, we welcomed new business partners all through 2017. Joining forces with Dutch provider of a tablet-based point of sale software for small to medium-sized businesses Countr, we were able to introduce blockchain payments to over 3000 merchants worldwide. Significant increase in blockchain currency payments can be anticipated in the Nordics thanks to the strategic partnerships with 4 leading Payment Service Providers: Yourpay, Quickpay, Gate2Payments and PensoPay. Moreover, we were able to coinify a very special kind of currency – customer loyalty and reward points. Together with the global leader in e-commerce and e-payment solutions for loyalty programs Loylogic, this innovative partnership now offers millions of loyalty program members with unparalleled flexibility by providing Bitcoin as a redemption option. We believe that the resulting nomination for the Mega Award 2017 in “Excellence in Loyalty” category was well deserved! Our organisation and leadership has evolved a lot. We have welcomed Steen Parsholt as new Chairman. While Hans Henrik Hoffmeyer continued as Board Member, he became active in conversations on the future of virtual currencies with European regulators as the member of Blockchain and Virtual Currency Working Group (BVC WG). Coinify management grew with Rikke Stær as Chief Commercial Officer and Jeppe Nejsum Madsen as new CTO. As the year was closing, additional funding has been added to the A investment round. We gave warm welcome to Nordic Eye joining our current investors SEB Venture Capital and Seed Capital Denmark. From the industry recognition perspective, we could not wish for more: #22 in TOP 50 Pathfinder Ranking; Best FinTech Startup Denmark at Nordic Startup Awards; and Top 100 company at European FinTech Awards 2017. Our highlight was the recognition by renowned research and consulting organisation Frost & Sullivan as The Best Global Blockchain Financial Service Provider. Our gratitude goes to international organisations and governmental institutions for engaging with us in discussions on the potential of blockchain technology. We would like to highlight discussion with World Bank Group on blockchain innovations for energy access; and collaboration with the Danish Foreign Ministry and sustainable think tank Sustainia on the potential of blockchain for the humanitarian and development aid (read the report). Thank you for all the good memories from 2017. We wish all our partners, customers and followers happy and prosperous year 2018! Coinify Team This was the second part of our year in review.
